Farm Time!

Today I found myself once again where everything started, the farm, which is where God spoke to me the first time, changing me to dream beyond my own logic, God encouraging me to live life deliberately and authentically.
The two years journey that I had in the United States completely changed my life. God gave me so much more that I could ever imagine. He gave me friends, parents, church, financial support, education, lessons for life, I could go on and on and never feel like finishing. The purpose that I now have in life pushes me to keep going even in the midst of my circumstances.
The farm is the same, everybody here made me feel at home right away! Even when the situation of the country does not look too favorable for us, the people keep being as generously and warmly as always! My first day back in Yamaranguila consisted of visiting people, asking question, to update myself, time with God, missing love ones, etc.
The girls are amazing they bring so much joy to my life. Last night while Flor and I were taking Paola and Mirian to their homes, three dogs started following us barking like crazy trying to bite us. Paola started running and I did the same, we were yelling and pushing each other, running for our life! The street was so dark and full of mud that we almost fall. Flor in the other hand was trying to get away from us, she was afraid not of the dogs but of Paola and me because we could run over her. As the dogs got closer Paola and I didn’t have any where to go, there was a wall in front of us blocking our way out. Meanwhile Flor was looking and laughing at us while we were being attacked by the dogs. But then the owner of the dogs came right on time to save our lives. (Drama I love it!) After everything had happened Flor, Paola and I were laughing so hard for a long time! What a way to end a day! This experience remained me that “ Life isn’t measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away” and you bet that did it! Haha
